Zoo Fun with Cousins

62 Years at the zoo

As a native Houstonian, I have been visiting the Houston Zoo at Hermann Park since I was a small child. Going to play at the Hermann Park playground and roaming through the zoo pathways with my brothers and my cousins was always an exciting outing. We enjoyed drinking from the lion water fountain, spotting turtles and ducks in the lake, and being amazed with all the Zoo animals. One of my favorites was the hippo submerged in her pool. Over the years I have continued to introduce my children, and now my grandchildren, to the wonders of the Houston Zoo.
