When we first moved to Houston in 2017, Houston Zoo was the one of the places we visited within the first few months. My eldest son was a month old and then on we have been visiting regularly. Day time admission to the yearly zoo light nights. Now my son is 5 and along with his 2 Year old lil brother, he loves to mark all the visited exhibits and plans what to do next using the zoo map. Every visit we get excited like it’s the first time as we enjoy going around every exhibit with many improvements and exploring the new exhibits. The amount of joy we get if we are able to spot every fish or species is unexplainable; we would consider ourselves lucky if we happen to see the octopus move around. Seeing the animals and aquarium species being fed is amusing. We love the idea of Free Tuesday’s every month. The Zoo is always neat and tidy and the employees are always welcoming with a warm smile at the entry through waving goodbye are the best. I always thought zoo visits would be special only for kids until I visited Houston Zoo for the first time. It has been such a nice experience for every age in our family. Every visit has been promising and welcoming. Looking forward to visiting our favorite zoo in future
