First Time Ever to the Zoo!

2005 Years at the zoo

My first time visiting a Zoo was when I was 15 years old! One of the best memories I have was seeing how massive the Zoo was, and how many animals were inside!

At the time my family and I lived in Laredo, Texas. We had just moved from Mexico to the U.S., therefore my father wanted to show us different places in Texas.

The first place we visited was the city of Houston, and also the first time to visit Houston Zoo, the experience was unforgettable. I can still recall seeing elephants giraffes, and lions for the first time,

I couldn’t believe it! All I could think about is how different they looked compared to watching them on National Geographic and seeing them live.

There were so many trees and so much life in the middle of the city, which to me seemed incredible!

I never thought in a million years I would end up moving to the area, and now my little family and

I love to visit the Zoo! I love telling them stories of that time when I first visited Houston Zoo… they might think is boring because I tell them all about it, but to me it’s still the most amazing adventure of all time.

Thank you for letting me share this memory with you.
