In 1977, when I was in second grade I was enamored of the tortoise. The zookeeper at that time said maybe your children will visit this same tortoise one day. Fast-forward to 2005 and I brought my seven year old and four year old boys to the tortoise exhibit. Of course the four year old did not believe I had seen the same tortoise as a child. He barely believes I was ever a child. The keeper confirmed this is the same tortoise and pointed to a plaque confirming it.
