I can remember going to the zoo and picnicking when I was a little girl with my mom and siblings. It is a tradition that I carried on with my daughter. We visited the zoo several times a year and had picnic lunches. I have been a zoo member for many years. My most recent and favorite memory was with my granddaughter on her very first zoo trip for her first birthday just a couple weeks ago. Seeing the excitement in her eyes as she looked at the animals and then looked at me brought me so much joy. I love visiting the zoo and learning about all the animals.
