My son was born in the summer of 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. We were so scared of him getting sick that we rarely left the house and couldn’t take him many places. The zoo was one of our first outings as a family and was a place that we always felt safe! Being outdoors with the animals and getting to experience nature for the first time through the eyes of our child has just been priceless. We are forever thankful for the Houston Zoo!
