1 Years at the zoo

While on my first day of volunteering, I engaged a young couple with a small girl near the Gibbon enclosure in the world of primates. We talked for awhile. The little girl was asking me many questions. Being new I answered them to the best of my ability. And then it came,……. “Mister Zoo Keeper Man?…… how come?……..”. Internally I cracked up and didn’t have the heart to tell her that I’m just a volunteer. So on my first day I got promoted by a six year old. I smile every time I think about it. I am sure I will not forget the experience.

By sending, uploading, or otherwise providing any communications, you are granting to the Houston Zoo to the extent you retain any rights, the unlimited, perpetual right to reuse, redistribute, modify, and create derivative works from such communications for any purpose and in any media without compensation, and you warrant that all rights in such communications have been waived.
